Hennessey Venom F5

Hennessey Is Back From The Dark

“We are really just trying to build a great car,” says Hennessey, Who created yet another limited-run car which hits an unbelievable number of 311 mph top speed. A few months back SSC Tuatara's 331 mph controversial speed had swept the world record title from the consistent winner Bugatti Chiron by topping at 304.77 mph recorded top speed.  But, there is a new underdog in the ring which just left the SSC Tuatara out cold. The last Hennessey street weapon was the 2010 showstopper Venom GT spooling 1,244 Hp which was based on the Lotus Exige which was tuned with a Twin-turbocharged V8 and weights an extraordinary 1,244kg (2,743 lb) topping at 270.49 mph.

Hennessey is a Tune Company which masters its build by squeezing a high amount of power in a small lightweight body. There are genuinely creating the impossible come true. The companies that have collaborated with Hennessey are Ford, Mclaren, Lotus, Audi, Cadillac. Chevrolet, Jeep, Lamborghini, GMC, Dodge. Model of these companies has been tuned to their max performance. It is pushing the structural integrity to the max.

Here is a sneak peek of what cooks under those warehouses of Hennessey. Now enough about the company and back to the main centre of attraction. The all-new Venom F5 was revealed to the world back in 2017 but then it was just a design reveal and Hennessey never spoke about the specs under the hood and numbers. But finally a few days back they had revealed the specs and everyone was left stunned. Once again Hennessey had stunned the world by numbers and facts. Hennessey is really keen at selling this beast to the world for a limited run of 12 for the United States and another set of 12 for the rest of the world.

This astronomical rocket with a limited run has already hyped up the automotive industry and if you want to get your hands on this spaceship, you will have to spare an astounding $2.1 Million. If you somehow manage to get hands-on $2.1 Million But this car will be in the eyes of car collectors and only major buyers will have their true chance of getting this car. So bad luck next time.

The technical specs about this car are that it is the body is strapped to a Twin-turbocharged 6.6 Lire V8 producing its 1,817 Hp and 1,192 lb-ft of torque. Reading the specs on this car left you also shocked. Hennessey has nicknamed its devilish motor as the "Fury". What a furious name? But the motor truly stands for its name. Hennessey has grabbed every single inch of the news headlines and eyes of every motor journalist. For this car to reach the marked speed the car runs off a set of special Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires and E85 fuel.

The car has a stunning sleek aerodynamic design for reduced drag to a 0.39 coefficient drag. The weight is another place where it excels. Hennessey had achieved a staggering 2,998 lb (1360 kg). The weight to power ratio is an amazing 0.6 hp/lb. This simplicity and an aggressive vehicle drives the rear wheels only and pushes with the aid of a 7 Speed single-clutch automated manual transmission. You might be wondering that with this much power through the rear wheels thrusting the car forward, There should be something to stop and tame this beast. Your right, behind the wheels its paired with Brembo Carbon-ceramic brakes with 6 pistons.

Do you want to be shocked once more? If its yes then sit back and hear out. The 0-124 mph in under 4.7 seconds. Another one 0-248 mph in under 15.5 seconds. Shocked!! Had warned you beforehand. Hennessey has got no chill this time. There had made up their mind to bring the Unbelievable out in front of the world. Maybe next you will see a unicorn by Hennessey. Just Kidding.

“Straight-line performance and all that absolute speed might be its strongest strengths, but we intend for you to be able to jump in the F5 and get on a British B road and drive through the country and have an enjoyable time and not be spinning the tires at 100 miles an hour,” he says.

The interior of this F5 is as simple as the exterior. Button-free dashboard and simplest steering wheel. The combinations of highly exposed forged carbon fibre and luxury leather. The front and rear splitter and a rear wing paired with a huge diffuser help majority with achieving those speeds. The team over at Hennessey will be soon testing the Venom F5 at the NASA's 3.2-mile Shuttle Landing Facility Runway in Florida.
