In an online video, General Motors Co. unveiled the much-awaited battery-powered hummer truck, actively promoting the intensified push by the automaker into the electric vehicle market. The Staring price range of this all-new electric vehicle is $80,000 to $112,000 and with a range of 350 miles on a full charge. The company has set to sell these models by the fall of 2021.
The 2022 Hummer has claimed 350 miles of range which is comparable to the Tesla Model 3. The 0-60 MPH time of this Off-Road vehicle is said to be 3 seconds.

In the current electric automotive industry, Tesla holds an upper hand & GMC will find it difficult to overcome Tesla's competitive edge. On the other hand, GMC has an upper hand in the Off-Road & Military Vehicles. GMC is a Detroit automaker which excels in producing hardcore off-road vehicles which are also used in the US military. It had gained a high level of goodwill in the gas-powered SUV's.
"It's mind-blowing and exciting that you take what was the symbol of internal-combustion consumption and transform it into an EV," Mike Jackson, Chairman and Chief executive officer of retailer AutoNation Inc., said in an interview, "I think it's going to do great."

There will be a limited edition run on a fully loaded Edition 1 Hummer Truck only in white, rocking the latest SuperCruise system which is a fancy name of lane keep assist. The car will be fitted with 18 camera's which will allow the driver to witness all aspects of the drive. This will help the driver to see under the car while off-roading. This camera system is named UltraVision.
