Brabus Rocket 900

The Brabus Rocket 900 Aka The Beast From Mercedes

This new Mercedes is a Mercedes GT 63S but on steroids. It is fitted with the latest and greatest tech that Mercedes can offer. This is a beast in itself but then it has been modified by the performance department of Mercedes called AMG. This beast has been tuned to unleash 900 horsepower and 922 pound-feet of torque by the eight-cylinders with a top speed of 200 MPH.

The production run for this car is very limited with only 10 models for the whole world. It will be a smack to your bank to afford this beast. It is said to cost a fortune of $514,000 excluding taxes & options.

The Brabus Rocket 900 will be a heavily tuned and modified Mercedes AMG's twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The engine displacement has been increased from 4.0 litre to 4.5 litres with the newer crankshaft, larger forged pistons and stronger billet con-rods.

That's just an iceberg tip. A pair of beefier turbochargers, high-pressure pumps in the fuel delivery system, a ram-air intake system and a recalibrated ECU are the changes done to the car. It's also bolted through the 4Matic+ system to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The latter number of this beast will be electronically limited to 775 to ensure that the Rocket does not dismantle parts of its drivetrain under heavy acceleration. Touching 62 MPH from a stop takes 2.8 seconds, and it takes 23.9 seconds to hit 186 MPH.

The car is fitted with beefy carbon-ceramic breaks in order to stop this wild bull. This model will be rocking 21-inches fronts and 22 inches rear sets of tires. Not all tweaks are done under the hood but even the exterior has been revamped by adding a huge carbon wing, improved cooling, splitter and a whole newly designed wide body kit fully crafted from exposed carbon fibre.
